Reasons to Seek Psychotherapy

While there are many reasons that people seek psychotherapy, my particular approach may be able to support you with the following issues:

~ Feeling Moody: anxiety, depression, grief, anger, irritability or other difficult feelings
~ Relationship Problems: with your spouse, colleagues, friends, coworkers, or others
~ Chronic Illness: chronic pain or fatigue, AIDS/HIV, cancer, multiple chemical sensitivities
~ Identity Issues: cultural, sexual orientation, gender identification, class, religion or physical
   ability
~ Alternative Relationships: same sex, straight, intercultural, polyamorous, marital counseling
~ Often Feeling Misunderstood By Others
~ Recurrent Physical Symptoms Not Based On Medical Reasons
~ Low Self-Esteem: feeling bad about yourself or unworthy compared to others
~ Life Transitions: divorce, job loss, marriage, moving, death, birth, adoption, aging
~ Childhood Issues Preventing Adult Maturity
~ Sexuality: orientation, self-expression, communication with partner(s) or polyamory
~ Codependency: taking care of others without taking care of yourself
~ Personal Self-Growth: inner resources, dreamwork, spirituality or finding a Higher Self
~ Responding To Stressors Instead of Impulsively Reacting
~ Assertive Versus Aggressive or Passive Communication
~ Addiction(s) of choice: drugs, alcohol, relationships/sex, food or compulsive spending

Psychotherapy can be helpful for any of the above-mentioned conditions.
If you are experiencing similar symptoms, please feel free to call me to determine if psychotherapy is right for you.
